The US played much better than the score (4-1) showed. They had some nice combination plays, and created some high quality scoring chances. A combination of our inability to finish and Brazilian spectacular goalkeeping, the score was largely separated. I would have liked to see US win, but Brazil earned it. I liked seeing Marcelo play so well. He had a great defensive game, but also tore up that shallow midfield, and even far up the field a couple times. That assist he had was just top
notch. It was great vision that led to the perfect cross. Truly wonderful to watch. It was a good match to see!
